WINTER FUN — Legislator John Mills, right, enjoys winter fun with some of those who attended last year’s Winterfest.
Minority Leader John J. Mills is inviting residents to Chestnut Ridge Park from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, to participate in a variety of winter-themed activities.
“Last year’s event was a tremendous success. Attendees took full advantage of all the activities, from sledding to snowshoe hikes. I expect this year to be even bigger as the popularity of this great event grows,” said Mills. “I encourage everyone to stop out and enjoy Winterfest at Chestnut Ridge Park.”
Winterfest 2012 will include sledding, snowshoe hikes, marshmallow roasting, arts and crafts, tobogganing, snowboarding, snow sculpturing, hayrides, wood branding and a WNYMBA mountain bike race.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase in the casino. Chestnut Ridge Park is located at 6121 Chestnut Ridge Road in Orchard Park.
For more information or to speak with Mills, contact his legislative office at 858-8850 or email john.mills@erie.gov.
