Earl’s Real Food Family Restaurant in Chaffee has closed its doors after 56 years in business.
Owner Earl Northrup started the local “comfort food” destination as a hot dog stand in 1956, which grew into a 150-seat restaurant with 37 employees and many menu options.
Employees declined to comment on the reason for the closure.
