Springville chorale begins its 17th season

The group will begin studying Christmas music at its first practice and will present its Christmas concert on Dec. 2. That event will include both sacred and secular music. The singers will be accompanied by pianists and other instrumentalists from the area.
Led by Sandi Mears of Springville and accompanied by Doris Jones of Gowanda, the group consists of volunteers’ singing in four-part harmony. New singers may participate.
A registration and reorganization picnic will be held Tuesday, Sept. 4 at the Mears’ home in Springville. This will be followed by the regular Tuesday practice at the First Presbyterian Church of Springville
