A Be-moo-tiful Picture

Students in the Springville-Griffith Institute High School, Springville Middle School, Springville Elementary School and St. Aloysius Regional School art classes got out their brushes to paint windows of Main Street, Springville, businesses, in honor of the Dairy/Agriculture Festival and Concord Bicentennial.
Chicken Little
The window painting in the window of Faith Baptist Church, done by students from St. Aloysius Regional School, won “Best Overall.”

Duck, Duck, Duck
The ducks painted in the window at Witter-Davis Furniture Company won “Most Humorous.” That painting was done by students from Springville Elementary School.
The students painted the windows on Thursday and Friday, May 24 and 25. Springville Area Chamber of Commerce volunteers awarded prizes to the winners.
Blue Bonnet Special
The Carolsel window painting by students from S-GI High School, won “Most Old-Fashioned.”

My Big Green Tractor
The tractor painted in the window at Witter-Davis by Springville Elementary School students won “Most Creative Design.”

Rainbow Connection
The painting in the Springville Journal window won “Most Creative Use of Color.” The art was created by students from the S-GI Middle School.
