Lady GaGa beats Justin Bieber to 1 billion YouTube views

The numbers are in and so are the results. Lady GaGa just beat out Justin Bieber for the first artist in history to achieve 1 billion views of their music videos on YouTube. Lady GaGa had already reached the 1 billion video view mark early this year but that was for the internet as a whole and YouTube alone.
Justin Bieber is expected to reach the 1 billion view mark on YouTube sometime in November of this year.
Lady GaGa Tweeted this after the milestone was reached:
"We reached one billion views on YouTube little monsters."
The race is on to two billion. Who will get there first? Justin Bieber or Lady GaGa? While GaGa has a lead now, Bieber has a book, a movie and possibly a holiday album coming out. The book and movie alone are sure to get Bieber millions of new fans. It will be a close race but I'm betting on Lady GaGa's freak fans to continue to do nothing but sit at the computer watching her videos over and over again.
