It appears that Simon Cowell made a mistake by letting the new X-Factor contestants stay at his London villa. I guess Cowell's generosity won't be seen again for a while.

Simon Cowell is upset with the new X-Factor contestants for trashing his $25,000-a-night London villa. The British contestants arrived at 8 a.m. and woke up Cowell with their screaming and hollering.

A source says, “The contestants really let their hair down when they got to the villa on Sunday and they were drinking, singing and partying. They even got got into Simon’s beer, so he wasn’t happy at all when he went to the fridge for a drink the next day. To make matters worse they damaged antiques in the villa and ruined a rug.”

Well, IF this story is true and the information is correct then it seems like a pretty stupid idea for Simon Cowell to allow the contestants from his show X-Factor to stay at his villa in London. I would have gotten them rooms at a Red Roof Inn and been done with it. Most people who are game shows are not the classiest of people so allowing them to stay in an expensive place was shortsighted.

What had to tick off Cowell more than anything was that his beer was gone. No man will stand for other people drinking their beer. That is Man Rule number one; Don't drink another mans beer without permission. For that alone all the contestants should be sent home now. However, what makes me think this story is false or has some misleading information is the fact that the source said Cowell was unhappy when he went to the fridge the next morning looking for his beer only to see it was gone. I thought all Englishmen liked their beer warm? Something is fishy here about this sources information.

Anyway, I think Cowell will be rethinking where he lets the contestants of X-Factor stay from now on. That would be a smart move Simon.
