    The latest attempt to raise money by New York state is ridiculous! Unreturned bottles will go directly to the state and the funds will ultimately be used to keep a sinking New York city afloat. I strongly suggest that anyone that doesn't return their empties donate them to a charity! Think about it, with the holidays approaching, it's a great feeling to help the less fortunate! It is also TAX deductable!
