My life is full of wondering on everything I see,
there is so much for me to do,
With all the sights and sounds that are around,
learning each new day and remembering,
hoping and thinking this was all put here for me.
The paths I walk are quick and steep,
flowers and trees grow high and wide.
Rocks, stones, and mounds have their own shape,
streams and creeks are shallow and deep.
This world in which I live encourages me to know,
tasks can be simple and pure as well as complex.
Sniffing teaches me to adopt an identity of my own,
they are food for thought and help me grow.
I explore as much as I can each new day,
the sounds and smells make it easy.
Knowing and learning as I step,
it makes life easier to pave my way.
My experiences in just a short time,
have taught me never to forget.
Situations that come about and pass,
give me a sense that these are mine.
As this world changes and nothing stays the same,
my life has new hope the world will grow.
Fresh faces come about where ever I go,
can I expect them to remember my name.
I've seen strange creatures that are new to me,
as I walk along each new path.
some of them crawl, swim, fly, and soar,
I have to ask Is There More.
