Toni Pepperoni Express, serving great pizza in Lockport

Toni Pepperoni Express in the Town of Lockport is offering a unique experience to customers with the variety on their menu.

The store first opened in March 2012 and owners Ethan and Esther Weeks have been running it since August.

The business is family owned and operated. Ethan was born and raised in Lockport and the couple now has a home in the Town of Lockport and their children go to Starpoint. Two of their five children work at the store, along with several of their family and friends.

Esther said Ethan had always wanted to work in the pizza business. He was working at Toni Pepperoni part-time when the couple decided to take it over.

At that time, Esther was working at a law firm in Lockport.

“We wanted to do something that would involve the community,” she said. “We took a chance, I quit my job and here we are.”

Toni Pepperoni Express offers a variety of menu items.

They carry specialty pizzas, strombolis, subs, wraps, salads, chicken fingers and more.

Esther said a popular item is their wings, which people can ether have regular, grilled or boneless.

They also have more than eight flavored crusts, including garlic parmesan, sesame seed, BBQ and jalapeno ranch.

Dough is made fresh daily, their sauce is made from scratch and fresh topping and vegetables are always used.

Toni Pepperoni also has daily $5 lunch specials and dinner specials. Esther said a popular dinner special is Tuesday, when they offer a large cheese pizza for $5.99.

Those buying food can either pick it up or have it delivered.

For delivery, there is a $2 charge, which goes to the driver. Delivery is available in the City and Town of Lockport, Pendleton and parts of Cambria.

Toni Pepperoni Express also has a dinning room area for people to come in and enjoy their meal. Esther said in the future she would like to expand the dinning room to have a television so people can come in and watch hockey.

They would also soon like to offer a fish fry, hamburgers and soups for lunch.

People can also stop in for a slice of pizza and she said it only takes around six minutes for a whole pizza to be baked.

People can find Toni Pepperoni Express on Facebook and Twitter. Esther said on Twitter, for those following them, she will do random food giveaways where she asks people to retweat a status and then picks a winner.

Toni Pepperoni Express, 6429 Dysinger Road, is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
