Kwiecinski and his cousin opened the franchise 12 years ago when they saw a good business opportunity that would apply to different niches.

“It was just a good business opportunity, and we saw the need for our services as an alternate to the Postal Service for shipping,” he said.

The UPS Store has a “Package Promise,” which guarantees that if an item gets lost or damaged during shipping, customers get a return on their money on the package shipping, as well as the value on the item. This is a service that sets the store apart from other carriers, and for good reason – Kwiecinski knows how much personal belongings mean to his customers.

“When we guarantee something to be there, it usually is,” he explained. “If not, you get your shipping money back.”

And making them happy, he says, makes everything even better.

“It’s the people you get to meet and the satisfaction to know that they’re happy with our service and that’s why they keep coming back,” he ended. “So we must be doing something right here.”
