That’s been the motto of Manko’s Automotive, 4560 Clinton Street, West Seneca for more than 50 years. Started by Manko’s father Jack, the business began in Depew, and continued to be family owned and operated ever since. Now the state of the art, 10,000 square foot facility is home to loyal customers who appreciate the quality service that Manko’s Automotive provides.
When customers come into the store with an automotive problem, be it large or small, they can rest assure that they will be assisted by AASE certified technicians, who can find out what the issue is, in no time. Manko and his wife Patti are also always around to answer any questions or concerns.
“It’s the quality service that is recommended,” said Manko. “A lot of our customers come in and say I’ve had my car at several other shops, and had the same problem which no one can seem to repair, and then they are impressed because we are able to repair it, most times in the same day.”
The shop offers almost every service imaginable from NYS inspections, oil changes, check engine diagnostics and repair, tune-ups, alignments, power brakes and steering. Not to mention all of the work is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles nationwide.
“At Manko’s it’s done right the first time, on time,” said Manko. “We not only service family vehicles, we also service fleets throughout WNY, including AVI International, and the US Postal Service.”
The shop also offers all major brand tires, and has access to over 1,500 snow tires, with most sizes in stock. All tire pricing includes free rotations, free disposal, free flat repairs, mounting, and balancing. They even feature the Hunter digital alignment system, which is one of the few in WNY.
Manko said what sets his business apart from the rest is their families touch. As customers walk into the store, the first thing they see is a sign that says, “Customers enter as strangers, and leave as our friends.” Manko’s Automotive isn’t out to rip people off, or to make the big bucks, they just want to make sure their customers enjoy their experience, and feel safe on the roads.
“In this business people get charged for things they don’t need, and we will never do that,” said Manko. “This is why they come back because they are gonna get the right information, and never be taken advantage of.”
As for the future of this business, Manko said bigger isn’t always better.
“Everybody likes to grow, and everybody likes to get bigger but with growing and getting bigger, the harder it is to maintain those one on one relationships. My plans are to continue what we do on a daily basis, and make it better,” he said.
Manko’s is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. For more information on what Manko’s Automotive has to offer call 668-2700, or visit www.mankoautomotive.com
