The Kenmore community has spoken

The community has spoken “We need a full-fledge community newspaper.”
Welcome to the Ken-Ton Community Newspaper.
A community, hyper-local newspaper, the Ken-Ton Source will always be a very accessible resource. Whether you are looking for the latest school and town board news, high school sports or anything else in the community, we here at the Ken-Ton Source will have it covered.
A newspaper writer for the past 10 years, I hope to continue the great tradition of collaboration and engagement that is community journalism here in Kenmore and Tonawanda. Together with our team of reporters, freelance writers and photographers, and with your contributions, both with story ideas and active commentary, we can bring the issues that this community cares about most to the forefront of the discussion.
You'll see our team of experienced writers around town at a variety of functions and events, keeping you up to date on everything you need to know. We will have a variety of weekly columns focusing on specific issues and endeavors important to you. Found throughout every article will be a focus on Kenmore and Tonawanda.
I'd like to encourage every reader to keep an eye out for stories that you think your neighbors would like to know about, and then shoot me an email. If you see me, or any of our writers around town, don't hesitate to say hello and let us know what's on your mind. If you are interested in contributing, or have ideas on how we can better ourselves, again, let us know.
Also, check out our social media outlets on Facebook and Metrowny.com. Metrowny.com will be updated daily to give the readers of Kenmore and Tonawanda a chance to keep up on what is going on in their community.
These mediums are used to help you stay informed no matter where you are, and we promise to keep you current on everything that is happening in your town and city.
Enjoy the new Ken-Ton Source and hope to hear back from you soon.
