Skies of the Harvest (a live presentation) will show patrons the current autumn night sky, explain why the days shorten toward December and where to find the most notable stars and constellations. Following the program will be a question and answer period between patrons and staff.

The centerpiece show for this Halloween season is the return of The Eye of Medusa, telling one of the most popular stories in Greek mythology. The planetarium will be transformed into the Lair of the Underworld and hear the stories of Charon and Medusa. While the show contains no objectionable content, it is not recommended for children under the age of eight due to the frightening nature of its central characters.

The schedule for Skies of the Harvest is Fridays at 7 p.m., and Saturdays at 1 p.m. The Eye of Medusa is scheduled for Fridays at 8:30 p.m., and Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person for all events at the door, and go on sale 30 minutes before show time. Inquiries and advance sales for large groups can be made by contacting the planetarium office, at (716) 878-4911.
