SPRINGVILLE — The Trading Post Community Care Center, located at 38 Franklin St., Springville, will be holding its Christmas Giving Tree event to raise money for local families, during the upcoming holiday season.

When a group, office or classroom donates 25 or more toys, stuffed stockings, gift cards or equivalent monetary donation, that group will be put on the wall as a holiday hero and will be entered into a drawing to win a free lunch, catered by the community kitchen.

Individuals can place a donation bin at churches, schools or businesses, or host a toy drive party, to collect new, unwrapped toys, gift cards and stockings, until Dec. 8.

Those stuffing a stocking are asked to list the appropriate age group and whether the gift is for a boy or girl.

All toys and stockings may be delivered to the Trading Post in Springville by Saturday, Dec. 8, to prepare for distribution.
