Collins Library will be the site of band concert

The Stone Country Band was formed in 1974 and recorded its first album in Nashville in 1979. The band has traveled all over the United States, performing at stadiums, fairs and festivals.
The musicians have appeared with performers such as Conway Twitty, Hank Snow, Asleep at the Wheel, Mickey Gilley, Emmy Lou Harris, Nat Stucky, Hank Thompson, Diamond Rio, Gene Watson, Dale Watson, Bill Kirtchen, Jim Lauderdale, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, John Michael Montgomery, Lee Greenwood, Lone Star and Tim McGraw.
The Stone Country Band is a member of the New York State Buffalo Music Hall of Fame and has won awards for musical achievements and charity works.
The concert will be held during the library’s annual book sale. The concert is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Collins Public Library at 532-5129.
