Newworldson comes to town

The band Newworldson will be making a stop in Springville on Friday, May 4 at the Springville First United Methodist Church, 474 East Main St., Springville, at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:45.

The band is made up of four members, Mark Rogers as drummer, Rich Moore as bassist and vocalist, Joel Parisien as front man and keyboarder and Josh Toal as singer and guitarist.

Newworldson will be performing a blend of rock, blues and soul music. Songs will include “Working Man” and “There is a Way.” The musicians’ new album, “Rebel Transmission,” came out April 17.

There is a charge for tickets. Kids younger than 10 are free. Tickets can be purchased at Springville Hardware, 46 East Main St., Springville, Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at the door and by calling 242-9400.
