Gingerbread house contest to be held in West Valley

WEST VALLEY — The first Gingerbread House Contest will be held in West Valley. The contest is being sponsored by the West Valley Girl Scouts and the West Valley Volunteer Hose Company. Entrants must create a gingerbread house to enter.
A community dinner will be held on Sunday, Dec. 23, from 1– 4 p.m. at the West Valley fire hall, where entries will be on display. Winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m. and Santa will be visiting from 1 – 3 p.m. There will also be crafts and cookie decorating, for the kids.
