Cattaraugus County Museum to hold saw demonstration

MACHIAS — The Cattaraugus County Museum will have open hours on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Allan Fish, who has loaned items to the library from his personal collection for an exhibit of saws and saw sharpening tools, will be present to demonstrate how some of the items are used. The demonstrations are free and open to the public.
The museum will also be open on Sunday, Sept. 9 from 1 – 4 p.m. during the Family Fun Day activities taking place at The Pines Nursing Home.
The museum is located on the ground floor of the Stone House at 9824 Route 16 in Machias. For more information, call 353-8200 during business hours Tuesday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
