SPRINGVILLE — A free online farmer training program will be offered on Jan. 28 and 30 and Feb. 5 and 7.
To become authorized vendors to accept traditional WIC checks, farmers must be currently enrolled in the New York State Farmers Nutrition Program, sign a separate WIC VF application and WIC VF agreement and participate in one of the free training programs. Training will take place from noon – 1:30 p.m.

Equipment requirements for the online webinar include a telephone connection and a high-speed Internet service. PC-based attendees must have a Windows 2000, XP, 2003 Server, VISTA or newer system. Macintosh-based attendees need Mac OSX X 10.4 or a newer system.
