The Aurora Waldorf School of West Falls will showcase art and handmade items during its 10th annual artisan auction.

The event will be held on Friday, Nov. 16 from 6 p.m. – midnight at the Statler City Golden Ballroom in Buffalo. The evening will include the raffle of a two-carat, two-tone tennis bracelet, donated by Jewelry by Geno.

Featured artists include John Barnhardt, Skylr Carrow, Al Harp, Kathy Grose and Tim Vukelic. New this year is the ability to bid online before the auction, for trips around the world, classes and workshops, at www.awsartisanauction.org.

Aurora Waldorf Development Director Lisabeth Abt Pieters said, “This year’s auction will continue to include the highest quality items [that] you will not find anywhere else. We have partnered with local companies and service providers to create workshops and classes that reflect the learning community we foster at AWS.”

The evening will also include silent auctions and dinner stations, dessert during the live auction and dancing until midnight.

Tickets are available online at www.awsartisanauction.org. All proceeds will benefit Aurora Waldorf School and its programs.

AWS is the only private, coeducational, non-sectarian school in the Southtowns that offers education for children from preschool – eighth grade. One of more than 900 Waldorf schools in 53 countries affiliated with the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America, the Aurora Waldorf School is located at 525 West Falls Road in West Falls.
