Legislative breakfast Aug. 16 at Springville country club

SPRINGVILLE –– The Springville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual legislative breakfast at the Springville Country Club in Springville on Thursday, Aug. 16 beginning at 7:30 a.m.
The SACC has invited county, state and federal legislators to attend. The discussion will be moderated by Thomas Ulbrich, executive director of the University at Buffalo’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership School of Management. Ulbrich will guide the panel of legislators through a question-and-answer session on topics impacting businesses in the Springville area, including tourism, healthcare reform, mandates, the status of the old Route 219 bridge and strategies for fueling economic growth in the area.
The SACC has invited its members and all interested business and community leaders to attend.
Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the Springville Country Club dining room. The moderated discussion portion of the program will begin at 8. Following the question-and-answer session, the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions pertaining to regional economic development and business growth.
