Stephen Mansfield visits WNY

SARDINIA –– The Sardinia Historical Society will host New York Times bestselling author, historian and social commentator Stephen Mansfield for an evening discussion about his newest book, “The Mormonization of America.”
Mansfield has written several books in recent years about the influence of religious faith in the lives of leaders like Barack Obama, George Bush and Sarah Palin.
According to him, the Mormon Church has seen a rise in membership and popularity over the past few years and, more recently, with Presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s being a member of the Mormon Church.
This event is free and open to the public. It is scheduled to take place at the Sardinia Meeting House, 12070 Savage Road, Sardinia on Thursday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m.
