COLLINS — Jacob Gernatt, son of Nate and Jen Gernatt of Quaker Road, Collins, recently fell from a tree, while training his hunting dog. He is currently in the intensive care unit at Women and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo.

A benefit to help defray Jacob’s medical and travel expenses will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Eden Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8265 located at 2551 March Road in Eden.

The event will be held from 4 – 10 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at Uncle Frank’s Tavern and Langford Superette in Langford; at Designer Pools in Gowanda or at the door. The price of admission includes pizza, wings, draft beer, pop and wine, as well as music, a theme auction and 50/50 raffle.
