Local schools announce free and reduced meal policies

SPRINGVILLE –– St. Aloysius Regional School and West Valley Central School have released their free and reduced price meal policies for the upcoming 2012 – 2013 school year.
For free lunch, breakfast and milk, households with one – eight members must have a weekly maximum income between $280 and $970, with each additional person’s adding $99 to the income.
For reduced-price eligibility for breakfast and lunch, households with one – eight members must have a maximum weekly income between $398 and $1,384, with each additional person’s adding $141 to the income.
The information provided on an application will be confidential and will be used for determining eligibility. The districts have the right to verify the information on the application at any time, during the school year. If a parent does not give the school the requested details, his or her child or children will no longer be able to participate.
