SPRINGVILLE — The Boys & Girls Club of Springville has announced that its annual “fall fun(d) raiser” on Nov. 17 will feature Beatles tribute band “BackBeat ’64,” with a guest appearance by JT and Jon Law.BackBeat’64 is a new, Beatles tribute band that covers the entire Beatles timeline, including post-Beatles solo music.
The fundraiser will also feature a theme auction, silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. One featured silent auction item is a weekend at a cabin in the Adirondacks.
Several local restaurant, including Julie’s Pizzeria, the Fireside Inn, the Colden Inn, Main Street Pizza and Ponderosa, will feature their food at the event. Beer tastings are provided by Gordon Biersch Restaurant and Brewery and wine tastings are provided by Willow Creek Wines. Presale tickets are available.
The event will be held at the East Concord Volunteer Fire Department’s recreation hall, located at 9413 Genesee Road in East Concord. The doors will open at 7 p.m. and the festivities will begin at 7:30.
Tickets can be purchased at the Boys & Girls Club of Springville, located at 63 Maple Ave. and at Julie’s Pizzeria in Springville. Tickets may also be purchased online, at www.jimhoweconcerts.com.
