Christmas services taking place at local churches

Area churches have scheduled services in observance of the Christmas season. Christmas falls on Dec. 25. These services include the following:
– Assembly of God Church in Springville will hold a candlelight service at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
– First Presbyterian Church of Springville will host a service at 7 p.m. on Christmas eve.
– First United Methodist Church of Springville will feature a Christmas Eve family children’s program and service at 6 p.m. with a candlelight service at 9:30 p.m.
– Redeemer Lutheran Church of Colden will offer a children’s program on Sunday, Dec. 23 at 10 a.m.; community service on Monday, Dec. 24 at 7:30 p.m. and Christmas Day, Dec. 25, at 10 a.m.
– Riceville Community Church, West Valley will hold a candlelight service at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
– Salem Lutheran Church of Springville will feature a Christmas Eve services at 7 and 10:30 p.m.
– St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Springville will celebrate two Masses on Christmas Eve at 4 p.m. and at midnight and one on Christmas Day at 10 a.m.
– St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, West Valley will celebrate Mass at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
– St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of West Valley will hold a candlelight service on Christmas Eve at 7:30 p.m.
– Berean Free Presbyterian Church, 8435 Boston State Road, Boston will hold a worship service on Dec. 23 at 11 a.m., followed by a breakfast.
– United Methodist Church of Colden will hold a family service on Christmas Eve at 5 p.m.
– East Concord Community Church will offer a candlelight service on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m.
– Faith United Church of Christ will feature two Christmas Eve services. The 7 p.m. service will be a family service and the candlelight service will be held at 10.
– Churchill Memorial United Methodist Church of Boston will host a Sunday school students’ Christmas program on Sunday, Dec. 23 and a Christmas Eve service at 7:30 p.m.
– West Falls Bible Church, 1823 Davis Road, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m.
