It's an outdoor art museum

Colden Elementary School fifth grade art students recently had a guided tour of outdoor art museum Griffis Sculpture Park in Ashford Hollow, a nature preserve filled with more than 225 monumental sculptures located in meadows, ponds, ravines and hillsides.
Docent Zack Boehler led them through a portion of the park, sharing information about the artwork created by local, national and international artists.
“It was an exciting and interactive experience for the students as they hiked the trails and touched and climbed many of the sculptures,” said art teacher Kristin Jaeger.
