Riding Over Bullying

Middle school students at Springville-Griffith Institute Central School District attended an assembly on the dangers of bullying featuring Matt Wilhelm, a nationally-known BMX acrobat, who performed tricks and discussed perseverance and bullying. Known as the fastest spinner in the world on a BMX bike, his bike tricks have earned him three X Games medals, two national championships and a host of other awards. Wilhelm was recently featured on “America’s Got Talent” in which he rode his bike to the semi-finals.
