Nils Wikman’s and Eric Hollar’s economics classes at Springville-Griffith Institute High School recently completed a 20-week virtual stock market competition.
MAKING MONEY — Pictured are Carl Emerling, Marcus Schutze and Eric Holler.
They traded stocks in real time using a virtual portfolio. Emerling Ford donated prizes to the winners of the competition for the first and second semesters.Austin Picone, with a stock growth of 27 percent, won the prize for the first semester, with Marcus Schutze, second semester winner, posting a stock growth of 65 percent.
