Fireside Inn cruises assist Boys & Girls Club

The 2012 Wednesday night cruise series at Springville’s Fireside Inn wrapped up the year without a single rained-out night.During the summer, drivers and spectators met, each Wednesday evening, to view the vehicles on display. This year saw more than 400 different vehicles attend, in addition to hundreds of spectators who came to partake of barbecued ribs.
The Truck Supercruise was held on June 27, the Christmas in July/Corvette Supercruise was held July 25, Convertible Night took place on Aug. 8 and the Pontiac Tribal Gathering was held on Aug 15.
The cruises raised more than $2,128 for the Boys & Girls Club of Springville, through participants’ support of the nightly 50/50 raffle.
