Springville Center for the Arts hosts summer art camp

An art camp for children from pre-kindergarten – second grade is currently being held at the Springville Center for the Arts. A total of 28 children attend two days per week.
LEARNING FROM THE BEST — Professional artist Jeff Freier (center) works with children and teaches them about art.
Professional artist Jeff Freier of West Falls said he focuses on dreams and used Nik Walenda as an example. “Everybody has imagination and should exercise it every day, he said.
DRAWING ON THE FLOOR — One student placed her project on the floor to work on it, while others look on.
“Kids are having so much fun. We have awesome artists showing their passions with the kids,” said Art Camp Coordinator Laurie Herrington.
