Kate Gosselin demands protection from non-existent paparazzi

Kate Gosselin made a big fuss during a promotional/business trip to plug and film the upcoming season of Kate Plus 8. The funny thing is, there was no reason for Kate to get all excited in the first place.According to reports Kate Gosselin demanded certain things from her gracious hosts in Tennessee when she landed there to film an episode of Kate Plus 8.
She demanded that she be given a police escort through the airport and a special escort to her hotel to avoid paparazzi. These demands are not atypical of real celebrities, but in Kate's case it was way over the top according to sources.
From we were able to gather, there were very few paparazzi around and there was no reason for her to demand an escort. She could have strolled through the airport with little to no hassle.
It appears that Gosselin's ego is growing by the day and that she can't except the fact that her fame is shrinking just as fast.
It is a surprise to many that Kate Plus 8 even got green lighted for another season in light of the fact that the ratings from last year were very disappointing. Rumors have it that if this season doesn't start off strong it will be canceled before too long.

Kate has always been vey demanding.I don't understand why TLC won't completly take kate off their network! kate acts like she's this big star and she's not.. kate doesn't have very many fans, I don't think her own family is her biggest fan. kate has a lot of issues! The show started out to be about her sextuplets and kate took over her kids show, what a sorry mother.. her kids need a normal life they don't need the camera in their face all the time. kate is so fake everyone could see right through her!!
