BY: Metro Source Staff | December 06, 2012

KENMORE - The annual Towne Player Christmas Show will be presented one night only at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14 at Sheridan Parkside Community Center, 169 Sheridan-Parkside.

Featured will be Lisa Taylor Dancers, who have participated in the show for 15 years. Of their four numbers, the first will be “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” followed by “Les Patineurs” by Giacomo Meyerbeer.

The dancing will be interspersed with songs, skits, readings and a visit from Mrs. Claus. One element of the show “Top Shelf Candy” will be performed at tribute to the late Paul Sturner, who was a member of the Towne Players for more than 40 years.

This public show is free and has been a tradition of the players since 1989. It is asked that food and new wrapped toys be brought to place under the tree to be donated to the food pantry.
