Come join the parade

The first annual Christmas on the Canal Parade is set to take place at 6 p.m. Nov. 24.
All businesses, organizations, civic groups, bands, clowns, schools, fire departments, scout troops, churches, sports teams, families and individuals are as invited to participate.
The parade will start at Ida Fritz Park travel up to Charles Street and end at the library parking lot.
Since it will be after dark participants are encouraged to use lights for their entry. Playing Christmas music is also a plus.
Entry forms are available for download at Christmasonthecanal.com or fill out the online form on the “parade” page of the website.
