Niagara County Genealogical Society to hos program Jan. 26.

The Niagara County Genealogical Society will be hosting the program “Genealogy Made Easy: Just Do It” at 1 p.m. Jan. 26, at the North Tonawanda Library Meeting Room, 505 Meadow Dr., North Tonawanda.
Not sure how to get started tracing your family tree, then this is the session for you. Please join us and learn how to get started in genealogy including good practices and techniques, learning what type of documents are best for beginners and what resources are available locally and on the web with speaker, NCGS board member Jeanette Sheliga.
Sheliga is a board member of the Niagara County Genealogical Society and the organizer of the North Tonawanda Library Genealogy Club. She has been researching her family tree for more than 10 years, is a frequent genealogy volunteer and maintains a blog of her personal genealogical findings to share with her family.
This program is free and open to the public.
