Sacred Heart Academy kicks off campaign
“This project has been generations in the making. Sacred Heart Academy is the strongest it has ever been,” remarks campaign co-chair Patricia A. Haberman, DDS ’80. “We have dedicated professional leadership, optimum enrollment and a talented Board of Directors. The time is right to inspire the next generation of women to their own success.”
Campaign goals for Celebrate our Tradition, Build our Future were identified by a strategic planning process that incorporated input from Sacred Heart Academy’s administrators, faculty and staff, students, board members, alumnae and parents. These priorities include the construction of a new convocation center and gymnasium, conversion of the existing convent to several, multi-use classrooms and enhancement of the Academy’s existing scholarship and financial aid endowment.
“Funds raised through the Celebrate our Tradition-Build our Future capital campaign will increase our building footprint for the first time in 80 years,” states Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart’s Head of School, Jennifer Demert. “Additionally, we will be creating much-needed classroom space, as well as strengthening our endowment. Through this campaign we will not only be making a commitment to this remarkable institution, but also an investment in the future of the young women of our Sacred Heart community – the leaders of tomorrow.”
