Gali elected chair of the board of trustees at Mt. Mercy Academy

SOUTH BUFFALO - Ann M. Galli has been elected chair of the Board of Trustees for Mount Mercy Academy in Buffalo.

Galli is a 1976 graduate of Mount Mercy Academy and attended Canisius College where she obtained her undergraduate degree in finance.

She is presently employed at M&T Bank in the credit division, as a vice president and manager of the Credit Technology and Project Management Department;

Galli is responsible for the management and coordination of technical projects within the division. Prior to joining M&T Bank, she held positions with Globalquest Staffing Solutions, CTG, and Keybank and as finance manager at Verdi & Co.

Galli is a past primary executive director of Financial Women International (FWI) Western New York Group and former FWI Liberty District President.

In 2007 Ann received the FWI Western New York Group, Member of the Year award.

Galli and her husband Richard served as Co-Chairs of the Mount Mercy Academy McAuley Gala, in February, 2007.

Prior to her appointment to chair of the Mount Mercy Board of Directors, she held the position of finance committee chair.

She also most recently held the position of President of the Alumnae Association at Mount Mercy Academy.

Her other accomplishments include receipt of 2009 Distinguished Honoree Award from the Association of Fund Raising Professionals.

She is a certified Project Management Professional and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) where in the past she held the position of Director of Volunteers.

She currently resides in West Seneca with her husband of 31 years, Richard. They have two children Richard and Sarah.
