Rocking Horse Productions to jump start Lancaster's theater season

One of the most popular romantic comedies of the 20th century, “Same Time, Next Year” ran four years on Broadway. The plot follows a love affair between two people, Doris and George, married to others, who rendezvous once a year. Twenty-five years of manners and morals are hilariously and touchingly played out by the lovers. The show will also feature special guests appearing as newscasters marking the passing years.
Directed by Leigha Eichhorn, the show stars Diane DiBernardo as Doris, and Jacob Kahn as George.
Also appearing are New York State Assemblyman Robin Schimminger, Sept. 14 and 15; TrendingBuffalo.com podcaster and former WECK, WGR and WBEN Host Brad Riter, Sept. 15; Classic Hits 104.1 Host and Voiceover Artist Val Townsend (Bello), Sept. 21; WYRK On-Air personality Dale Mussen, Sept. 22; Buffalo Spree Publishing Contributor and Media Personality Darwin McPherson, Sept. 23.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 per student and senior. The Lancaster Opera House Box Office is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and one hour before curtain on show nights.
