Results for the Niagara County Fair 4-H Animal Science Show.
Poultry:
Andrew Townsend, 16, of Lockport received the Super Grand Champion of Show award.
Lucas Lombardo, 14, of Pendleton received the Res. Super Grand Champion of Show award.
Dana Daigler, 13, of Lockport received the Grand Champion Showman award.
Kayla Clark, 16, of Lockport received the Res. Grand Champion Showman award and the Res. Grand Champion Auction Birds award.
Abigail Kankiewicz, 16, of Lockport received the Grand Champion Auction Birds award.
Swine:
Nathan Reynolds, 9, of Medina received the Beginner Showmanship award.
Morgan Wagner, 13, of Lockport received the Junior Showmanship award and Grand Champion Auction Hog award.
Court Luckman, 17, of Gasport received the Senior Showmanship award. He also received the Grand Champion Showman, Grand Champion Breeding Hog and Grand Champion Market Hog awards.
Micah Reynolds, 16, of Medina received the Bred By Exhibitor and Reserve Grand Champion Auction Hog awards.
Daniel Snell, 13, of Barker received the Pen of Market Hogs award.
Outstanding food exhibitors:
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County 4-H Healthy Lifestyle Committee is pleased to announce the recipients of the 4-H Foods exhibits for the 2012 Niagara County Fair.
Outstanding Senior Exhibitor is 16-year-old Kayla Clark from Lockport. She entered 17 exhibits and received 13 blue ribbons, three red ribbons, and one white award for a total of 118 points. She also received a special award. Kayla is a member of the Little Bits 4-H Club.
Runner up is Cassie Travers, 15, from Ransomville. She received eight blue ribbons, two special awards and one exhibit selected for the state fair for a total of 107 points.
Outstanding Junior honors goes to Toby Harvey, 12, from Model City. He entered 10 exhibits and received 10 blue ribbons, five special awards and two selected for the New York State Fair. He earned 153 points and is a member of the Tri-Town Clan.
Junior Runner Up is Maddie Lovocat, 9, from Williamsville. She is a member of the Sanborn Stallions. She exhibited seven entries and received seven blue ribbons, two special awards totaling 81 points.
Outstanding clothing exhibitors:
The Niagara County 4-H Healthy Living Committee announced the results from the 4-H Clothing and Textiles program. The outstanding Junior Clothing Exhibitor is Stephen Travers, 11, a member of the Sanborn Stallions 4-H club. He entered two exhibits receiving two blue ribbons, two special awards and one selected for the New York State Fair. He earned 58 points.
The second place exhibitor was a tie between Carissa Clarcq, 10, from the Clover 4-H Club and Lukas Lombardo, 13, from the Pendleton Church Mice. Both received five blue ribbons.
The outstanding Senior Exhibitor is Cassie Travers, 15, from Sanborn Stallions 4-H Club. She made six garments and received six blue ribbons, with four specials and two recommended for the state fair.
Outstanding home environment exhibitors:
The Niagara County 4-H Healthy Living Committee announces the results from the 4-H Home Environment exhibits at the Niagara County Fair.
The Outstanding Senior Exhibitor is Cassie Travers, 15, from the Sanborn Stallions 4-H Club. She received 10 blue ribbons, four special awards and two exhibits recommended for the state fair for a total of 174 points.
The Senior Runner Up is Kayla Clark, 16, from the Little Bits 4-H Club. She received 13 blue ribbons and five red awards for a total of 145 points.
The Outstanding Junior Exhibitor is Asa Nowicki, 10, from Sanborn Stallions. She entered 23 exhibits, receiving 22 blue awards and one red ribbon for a total of 185 points.
Alanna Nitto, 10, from the Pendleton Church Mice earned 161 points by entering 20 exhibits and receiving all blue ribbons. She is the junior runner up.
