Lancaster Opera House craft show to be held at Rosary Cathedral

LANCASTER- More than 100 craft vendors, within a mile of each other on Broadway in Lancaster, will await the eager holiday shopper. The 26h annual Lancaster Opera House Craft Show will be held at the Holy Mother of the Rosary Cathedral, located at 6298 Broadway. And just down the street, The Green Fields, 5949 Broadway, will present a Holiday Bazaar and Craft Show as well. This all takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday Nov. 17.

Deborah Ervolina, LOH Craft Show chairwoman since its inception in 1986, has a long-standing reputation for choosing high quality exhibitors. Each year, she accepts hundreds of photo submissions from vendors to fill the select spaces.

“I pride myself in obtaining the best crafters that I can find to display at the show,” said Ervolina. “Some vendors have displayed for over 20 years and say it is their best show.”

Vendors pay a modest fee to exhibit at the show with proceeds benefitting the Lancaster Opera House.

Every year the show has a very festive atmosphere; holiday music, lighting and decorations. There will also be a basket raffle and café. Admission is $1. Last year the craft show attracted more than 1,000 guests.
