Annumciation School accepting applications

ELMA - Annunciation School in Elma, home of The Center for Health Science, a unique two-year curriculum for students in seventh and eighth grade, continues to accept applications for the 2012-13 school year.
The school serves children in Pre-K3, Pre-K4, Kindergarten and Grades 1-8 from several area school districts.
In addition to The Center for Health Science, the school has made several upgrades and improvements over the past two years.
Recently completed projects include an expanded pre-k program, new floors throughout the school, a new gym floor, an expanded sports program, new computers and SMART Boards, a new website and more.
Annunciation’s expanded pre-k program offers several options. The pre-k3 program offers hours from 9 to 11:30 a.m. or 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. The pre-k4 offers hours from 9 to 11:30 a.m. or 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Leading the pre-k3 program is Charlotte Hudson, while Arlene Hazzenfratz and Kim Gumina oversee the pre-k4 program. Serving as a classroom aide is Diane Petix.
Annunciation, which serves children from the Alden, Alexander, Attica, Cheektowaga, Depew, East Aurora, Holland, Iroquois, Lancaster, Orchard Park and West Seneca school districts, offers busing within a 15-mile radius of the school. Before- and after-school programs are also available.
