Shawn Krawczyk charged with attempted robbery in Boston

Shawn Krawczyk, 28, of Town of Boston is facing attempted robbery charges in the Town of Boston.
On Friday, Sept. 14, the New York State Police have charged Shawn Krawczyk, 28, of the Town of Boston for attempted robbery of the 7-Eleven Convenience Store or the Evans National Bank, both located in the Town of Boston.

According to police, after receiving a tip of the planned robbery, New York State Troopers from the Boston Barracks located Krawczyk walking along Boston State Road, heading in the direction where both businesses were located.

He was stopped by police and was allegedly found to be in possession of a written note demanding money.

According to authorities, in an interview with Krawczyk, he admitted to police he was going to rob one of the businesses but at the time he was apprehended he had not decided on which one.

Krawczyk was arraigned in the Town of Boston Court and was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center on $50,000 bail.
