Village wide garage sale to take place at the Alden's Farmers Market

ALDEN - Hunt for great bargains and unique surprises at Alden’s annual mid-summer “Village-Wide Garage Sale” on Saturday, Aug. 4.
In addition to individual sites throughout the village, many garage sale and crafts tables also are expected at Alden’s Farmers Market Market.
Hours at the Market are from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hours at other sites may vary. Spaces may still be available.

In addition, Leonard Oakes Estate Winery of Medina will have tastings of their high-quality wines.
Leonard Oakes has won multiple awards at several wine competitions.
The Alden Lions Club is represented at the market every week, as part of the Henry’s Candy vendor booth.
They have USA-made, American Flags for sale, along with the very handy Alden “Sight-saver” Telephone Directory – which is produced by the Lions Club. They also will accept donations of eyeglasses.
The regular farmers market produce, bakery, honey and maple, candy, gourmet pasta and spices, cheese, eggs, and nursery item vendors also will be on hand.
Summer produce is prime and new products have been added throughout the season.
Remember that Saturday, Aug. 11, will be Kids Day. Applications are available at the Market and at the Library.
The Alden Chamber of Commerce, sponsors of the market, will sell coffee, pop, pizza, and hot dogs.
The farmers market is located in the Alden Village Plaza at 13119 Broadway, Alden – between Tractor Supply and Save a Lot.
