NORTH TONAWANDA - In correspondence with the recent updates made to various store fronts, and the growth of new businesses in the Downtown Corridor of North Tonawanda, Owner of Designer Sportswear Sue Rechin-Fassl has jumped on board with the changes.
“It needed a new facade,” said Fassl as she referred to her renovated store front.
Designer Sportswear, located at 80 Webster Street, North Tonawanda, recently underwent a face lift, which was partially funded through a Lumber City Development Grant. The newly designed storefront presents an elegant and classy entrance into the store, where once inside, customers are presented with a variety of items to choose from.
Fassl has worked in North Tonawanda for the past 30 years and has occupied the current Webster Street location since 1985. The store specializes in customized embroidery and screen printing, which comes in all shapes and sizes.
“We can create anything that our customers want,” said Fassl. “We created items for everyone, including corporations and businesses to individual people.”
From embroidering corporate apparel to medical scrubs, to screen printing on T-shirts, pens, key chains and koozies, Designer Sportswear is able to produce quality work efficiently.
Fassl recently hosted a grand-reopening event and welcomes the community to stop in and see the changes. In honor of the grand-reopening, all in-stock merchandise is 10 to 50 percent off through the holiday season. Some items are being sold for even more than 50 percent off.
“The store is much more inviting now, it needed a new look,” said Fassl.
Fassl prides herself on providing quality service to her customers and ensures their satisfaction every time.
“We are very particular about the quality of our work and the service that we provide to our customers,” said Fassl. “We will embroider one piece or hundreds of pieces.”
In addition to custom embroidery, the store sells Lindsay Phillips Switch Flops and Snap Shoes for women.
These unique shoes, which allow you to change the front emblem of the shoe by snapping on a new piece of decor or changing the color of your flip flops by switching the velcro strap, come in handy during every occasion. Whether the occasion calls for dressing down at the office or dressing up for happy hour, these fun, affordable pumps and flats can accommodate for any event.
Fassl attributes much of her success at Designer Sportswear to the support of her husband, mother, friends and family members, and is happy to have been part of the North Tonawanda community for so many years.
Designer Sportswear is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays; from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays; and the store is closed Mondays and Sundays.
