Lancaster Youth Bureau's Fall Festival offers family fun

LANCASTER- The Town of Lancaster Youth Bureau will be sponsoring its third Annual Fall Festival for families from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6th at the youth bureau on Oxford Avenue, Lancaster.
There will be a variety of fun activities for children and families which will include; games, pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce house, face painting, kids’ crafts, and more. The Erie County Sheriff’s Department will be offering their Operation Safe Child Program which provides Safe Child information cards for parents. A driving and texting simulator will also be available for everyone to try out.
A theme basket raffle will also be held, along with refreshments being served throughout this drug and alcohol free family fun day being sponsored by the Lancaster Youth Bureau, HOLD (A Healthy Outlook for Lancaster & Depew), along with the Getzoni Agency-Nationwide Insurance and Financial Services and Lancaster KeyBank.
The Amazing Race will once again take place on the youth bureau premises. Families and friends can form groups of two to five people who will compete in six separate challenges. Entry fee is $5 per team, and team prizes are $100 for first place, $50 for second place, and $25 for third place, along with prizes to be raffled off to all participating race teams.
The youth bureau will also be sponsoring a Bryce Buchholz Memorial Skate and Bike Park Fund-raiser, which includes a raffle for a BMX bike, helmets, and Walden Galleria Gift Cards. Tickets are $5 each and are available in advance at the Lancaster Youth Bureau or during the Fall Festival.
