Fire Prevention, Life Safety Family Day to educate residents

LANCASTER- Bringing the fire safety message to Lancaster and Depew residents in a single day, the Village of Lancaster will be hosting its 18th annual “Fire Prevention and Life Safety Family Day” from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Como Park Elementary School, located at 1985 Como Park Boulevard., in Lancaster.
The day will include fire and life safety demonstrations, including school bus safety and fire extinguisher training, and handouts. Members of the Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps (LVAC) will be available for those who have questions. It will be fun for the entire family.
Also, New York State Assemblyman Dennis Gasbryzski will also be in attendance with his annual “Wellness Event.”
Free refreshments will be available.
