Get ready to be bubbled-out.
The Buffalo Museum of Science will bring back Bubblefest, its day-long celebration of bubbles from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 rain or shine.
The event is presented by Praxair and is included with general museum admission and free for BMS members. Admission may be purchased the day of the event.
The museum will expand outside into Martin Luther King, Jr. Park with tents full of bubble activities - from a kiddy car wash to bubbles so big you can stand in them.
While outdoors, enjoy kid-friendly musical performances by Susan Rozler and Dave Ruch.
Activities continue inside the museum where guests can enjoy bubble crafts and the popular Tekno Bubble Dance Room where you can boogie down surrounded by glow in the dark bubbles.
Guests may also enjoy a bubblemania performance by The Bubble Man, Doug Rougeux at 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 and 3:00 p.m. Performance admission is $3 per non-member or $1 per BMS Member.
BMS created Bubblefest in 2005 and last attracted more than 3,000 guests from Rochester to S. Ontario to the most recent Bubblefest event in 2008.
