Elks National Hoop Shoot contest goes local in Lockport

The Elks are pleased to announce the 41st annual Elks Hoop Shoot contest.

An estimated 2.5 million youth from across the country — ages 8 to 13 — will compete for a chance to qualify for the National Finals in Springfield, Mass. on April 20, 2013.

National Champions will have their names permanently inscribed in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

The local competition for the 41st Annual Elks Nation Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest, sponsored by the Elks National Foundation, will be held at the Lockport YMCA on Saturday, Dec. 8, with registration beginning at 9 a.m. and the competition starting at 10 a.m.
