Lancaster HS Winter Guard seeks new members

LANCASTER- The Lancaster High School Winter Guard program is currently recruiting for the 2012-2013 competitive season.

The program includes two free dance classes per week for any students who participate in the program. This activity includes dance, twirling of equipment such as flags, rifles and sabres, set design, costuming, and props. The group trains from November through January, then competes locally in New York State and regionally in Rochester and Cincinnati, and concludes the season at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.

The program is open to students at Lancaster Middle School and Lancaster High School who are currently in grades seventh though twelfth, and who meet academic participation standards set forth by the school district.
