Bicycle race weekend postponed in Village of Hamburg

The annual Hamburg Bike Race Weekend, originally slated for the second weekend in June, has been postponed, according to Bike Race Weekend Co-Chair Greg Wichlacz.

He said the goal is to secure another weekend later in the year to hold the races.

The two days of races has bicyclists riding through the hills of Boston and East Eden on Saturday and through the Village of Hamburg on Sunday.

The Sun will keep readers informed as soon as an alternative weekend is decided.
